This was a comprehensive renovation project with the aim to replicate the building which previously existed onsite. The new home design needed to recreate the owner’s home as closely as possible after the home was earthquake damaged and deemed a rebuild.

 

Challenges included an awkward site and re-designing according to changes in earthquake code requirements.

​A key feature of this home is the stunning stained-glass window that the client painstakingly repaired after being damaged in the earthquake.
