Located within the new Hamptons residential development in Prebbleton, this low-slung, single-level home reads as quietly confident — a deliberate counterpoint to the pitched-roof conventions of its neighbourhood. At 222m², the plan is expansive without being excessive, stretched horizontally across the site to maximise north-facing solar access while maintaining a clean, contemporary street presence.

The layout is organised around a clear public-to-private gradient. A gallery hall connects the entry to the main living zone — open-plan kitchen, dining, and living — which anchors the western end of the plan and opens through full-height glazing to a covered terrace with a morning deck on one aspect and an evening deck on the other, a considered response to the arc of the Canterbury sun.
