QUARRY GARDENS

The Quarry Gardens project presented an exciting opportunity for us to create a thoughtfully designed subdivision on a spacious 5000m² lot in the heart of Halswell.

 

Our approach focused on establishing a gated community with a shared loop road, allowing the homes and outdoor spaces to take precedence over vehicles and hard surfaces. Each home features a simple yet elegant form, with well-detailed cladding and expansive landscaped garden areas, creating a lush and inviting environment.

We designed a mix of smaller homes, mid-sized dwellings, and family houses, carefully curating a cohesive blend of typologies and styles to cater to diverse lifestyles. A modern palette of materials, inspired by the natural colours and textures of the surrounding landscape, was selected to maintain a balance between contemporary design and a sense of connection to the area.

 

This thoughtful combination of architecture and nature ensures that Quarry Gardens offers a harmonious, welcoming community that feels both modern and rooted in its environment.
